About Us

After completing her Fine Art Bachelors Degree, Helen became very interested in computer design software and furthered her education in the Adobe Creative Suite. With this and lots of enthusiasm, she could get employment at an internet software business as an HTML Developer.

It led to a career (twenty years and counting) encompassing varied roles across Graphic Design and Website Development fields.

During that time, she recognised how unique her collection of skills was, like most of her colleagues focused solely on creating designs and websites. She also harboured an interest in how her work generated sales.

In her last full-time graphic design position in the global financial business Capify, she started to contemplate starting her own business. She made steps to start Elluse (aka Helen Jones).

It is a drop shipping business where Helen and her employees design and create drawings and patterns. The dropshipping business Contrado.co.uk prints this artwork to their products when a purchase happens. Contrado then posts the item and handles any complaints. To give the Artist/Designer more time to concentrate on their craft.

Elluse is openly subversive and brings up topics that are usually not discussed in clothing and home decor. The company adds portraits of famous people such as Greta Thunberg and George Orwell to give people the opportunity to bring up topics they believe need discussing to the greater world but always in a subversive stylish way and not in the usual way some people off the beaten track will do such as punks. The types of creative work Elluse aspires to are Alexander Mcqueen, Tomierous Beatsities and Vivienne Westwood
